As the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Mtech Digital Solutions, I’m excited to be part of a team that is using technology to modernise agriculture, one of the oldest and important industries in the world. Without the doubts agriculture has always been crucial for human survival, and now with technology, we can make it more efficient, sustainable, profitable, and predictable.
Background in agriculture technology: 13 Years at Mtech Digital Solutions
Before taking on the new role, I had the honour of working at Mtech for almost 13 years in a different roles and positions like a software developer, technical and team lead and a software architect. During my career, I gained in-depth knowledge and expertise in the substance of the business, including the needs and challenges of the sector and the potential of technology to transform the industry.
Vision for a more efficient, sustainable, and transparent food supply chain
At Mtech, we believe that combining agriculture and technology can solve some of the biggest challenges faced by farmers and agribusinesses. This includes improving farm well-being, crop yields, reducing waste, as well as increasing transparency in the food supply chain and promoting sustainable farming practices. As CTO, my role is to lead our company’s technology strategy and innovation efforts to unlock the potential of technology in agriculture and drive positive change in the industry.
Prioritising data security: protecting sensitive information in agriculture
Agricultural IT is all about the data and because of that data security and privacy are significant concerns for us. We understand the importance of protecting the confidentiality, integrity, availability of data, and a compliance with the global standards and best information security practices is a top priority for us.
Collaborating across the agriculture value chain
At Mtech we recognise that addressing the complex challenges of agriculture requires close collaboration with stakeholders across the entire value chain, including farmers, industries, governments, and distribution partners. We actively collaborate with customers to understand their needs and challenges and incorporate their vision into our product development process.

Outside of Work
Balancing my personal life with my professional responsibilities is important to me. It helps me maintain a well-rounded and fulfilling life, and I believe that my personal experiences and relationships also contribute to my ability to bring positive synergy into the workplace.
In my free time, I enjoy participating in sports activities to stay physically active. Whether it’s hiking with my family, going for a run, or hitting the gym, I find that staying physically fit contributes to my overall well-being, both mentally and physically.
