The Finnish software company will deliver a cloud-based Recording Device Management solution in the United States. The agreement is an important milestone in Mtech’s 40th anniversary year.
Mtech Digital Solutions Oy has entered into an agreement with the National Dairy Herd Information Association, National DHIA, in the United States. Mtech will deliver, customize, host, maintain and support a Recording Device Management application for National DHIA and its members. The application is based on the Mtech Core System.
National DHIA serves the dairy herd information, or DHI, system and the dairy industry by advancing dairy information services. Its work includes promoting accurate and reliable dairy records, administering quality certification, maintaining common procedures, and coordinating the testing of recording and sampling devices.
The new application will bring recording device information and related work into one digital environment. It will support device records, ownership information, testing schedules and protocols, calibration evidence, notifications and reports. It will also support ICAR approval updates. Customized functions will include herd ID integration, spare parts management, user accounts, organization structures and offline work through Excel templates.
Mtech was founded in 1986 and celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2026. The National DHIA agreement connects the company’s long history with its next stage of growth. It strengthens Mtech’s international business and is an important step in the company’s growth in North America. The agreement also builds on Mtech’s earlier international work in cattle and dairy technology.

The solution will be developed and customized in close cooperation with National DHIA. The cooperation will include data delivery, user testing, pilot activities and joint project work. This approach will help ensure that the solution meets the practical needs of National DHIA and its member organizations.
