MyICAR, the statistics and membership information service of ICAR, has been launched

Today, ICAR, the International Committee for Animal Recording, has launched a new platform for the collection and presentation of milk recording statistics. This modern platform called MyICAR was developed by Mtech.

“ICAR is very excited to launch this new version of our long established ‘cow enquiry’ statistics. These statistics have been compiled by ICAR members since 1995 and provide a very important ongoing reference for our industry,” Martin Burke, Chief Executive at ICAR, says.

“ICAR chose Mtech as our design partner as they have a demonstrated capability and history in agri data presentation. ICAR is looking forward to working more with Mtech in the future as we further modernise our MyICAR web offering.”

The new service is long awaited by specialists in the industry around the globe. It will facilitate statistics collection from the ICAR members while providing a modern tool for a wide range of stakeholders interested in up-to-date milk recording statistics – scientists, authorities, farmers, businessmen, students.

“ICAR, the world’s leading pioneer in animal recording, is an important partner for us. We are proud to be part in rejuvenating this part of the industry. In the future, all the most important organisations of the global animal recording sector will use the statistics and the membership information service that we have developed. We look forward to the next step in our cooperation with ICAR.,” Christian Jurvanen, CEO at Mtech, says.

MyICAR is available on the ICAR webpage for visitors as well as for ICAR member users. MyICAR platform will also be presented at the ICAR 2021 conference.
