GS1 Finland‘s Data model of food sustainability was announced on June 9, 2023. Mtech has been one of the actors in the development of the sustainability model since the beginning of the project.
GS1 Finland is a standardisation organisation that promotes efficient information exchange between different operators. It also develops global standards for food production and the agricultural sector. GS1 Finland’s goal is to improve the competitiveness of Finnish food by utilising common standards and traceability.

There is a major change going on in the food chain, with the help of common standards and traceability, we are ready to take on the challenges and opportunities that the future will bring.
