Collaboration with Snellman
Mtech and Snellman began their collaboration in 2019 with a shared goal of developing a digital solution to support Snellman’s production management, data utilization, and sustainable development. The project was built on a shared vision that digitalization can bring tangible added value to daily operations – transparency, better predictability, and data-driven decision-making.
At the heart of the cooperation was the aim to enhance communication between Snellman and its producers.

Snellman is a Finnish family-owned company known for its high-quality food products and uncompromising commitment to animal welfare and supply chain transparency. The Snellman Group employs around 2,000 people and is recognized as a forerunner in responsibility and quality within the Finnish food industry.

The partnership began with defining a shared vision: what kind of digital solution would best support Snellman’s strategy, meet the everyday needs of producers, and bring genuine value to users.
The development work was based on an existing producer service, but Mtech’s contribution transformed it into a next-generation solution that meets today’s requirements for production and data management. During the early stages of the project, the teams worked closely together to examine production challenges, opportunities for data utilization, and user experience needs across different roles.
