Overview
The year 2024 was a year of strong progress and success for Mtech. Our renewed strategy, introduced the previous year, laid a solid foundation for growth and a shift in direction, which started to materialise tangibly: our revenue grew significantly, profitability improved, and our productised solutions were well received by customers. At the heart of our strategy is the development of digital solutions that serve the entire food system — and in 2024, this vision began to take concrete form, both as customer value and as measurable impact throughout the value chain.
We have brought to market solutions that support sustainable growth, efficiency, and data-driven management across the food system. Mtech Productivity Systems (MPS or MinunMaatilani.fi) is an integrated suite for managing farm production and finances, combining crop farming, livestock production, and financial control into a cohesive and transparent whole. For crop operations, the system supports precision farming and the utilisation of yield data, but its true strength lies in managing the farm’s entire operation in a data-driven way. As part of the MPS offering, we launched Mtech AgINTEL solutions, which bring artificial intelligence into farm production processes. AgINTEL provides practical tools that simplify daily work and enhance decision-making.
Mtech Supply Chain Integrator (MSCI) connects primary production, industry, and commercial partners into seamless networks, enabling new models for contract production, traceability, and data flow management. Mtech Core Systems (MCS) serves public and private actors in the food system — such as authorities, retailers, and industry — in digitalising processes, information systems, and services, both as ready-made solutions and tailored developments.
Throughout the year, we have strengthened our position as a technological forerunner and thought leader in the food system. Our investments in artificial intelligence, weather technology, digitalisation of contract farming, and new types of data platforms have translated into real benefits in our customers’ daily operations. Together with our partners and owners, we are building practical solutions that combine technology, data, and responsibility — transforming the food system in measurable ways for the better.
The year 2024 proved that we are on the right track. We have the ambition, expertise, and collaboration skills to advance the digitalisation of the food system. Our customers recognise this too: according to Taloustutkimus’s Customer 360 survey, 89% of our business customers and 78% of end-users reported being at least satisfied with our services. The willingness to recommend our services also remained high, reflecting trust and appreciation for our partnerships.

I would like to thank our customers, partners, and employees for their trust and commitment — together, we will continue to build the food system of the future with determination.
Company financials
In 2024, the company’s revenue rose to €12,632,268.55, an increase of approximately €1.4 million or 12.45% compared to the previous year (€11,251,242.86). Revenue grew across all business areas, with especially strong growth in the productised solutions aligned with our new strategy, offered to both farm entrepreneurs and business customers.
Thanks to revenue growth and effective cost management, operating profit rose to €864,526.41 (6.83% of revenue), representing an improvement of about €0.9 million compared to the previous year’s loss (-€51,312.52). Net profit was €502,342.49, whereas the previous year closed with a net loss of -€254,989.56. The net profit was still negatively impacted by one-off write-downs related to the revaluation of the company’s investment assets, similar to the comparison year 2023.
The company’s balance sheet remained strong and liquidity excellent. The equity ratio was 59.13% (compared to 60.60% the previous year), and equity amounted to €4,727,337.04 (compared to €4,444,994.55 the previous year).
In terms of full-time equivalents, the company employed an average of 110 people, one fewer than in the previous year.
Outlook for the coming year
In 2025, we will continue to implement our strategy decisively along the chosen path. Our goal is to strengthen our position as a pioneer in food system digitalisation and to provide solutions that support sustainable, profitable, and smart production. While we do not expect to match the exceptional growth figures of 2024, business growth is expected to continue steadily, and profitability will remain at a good level.
The year 2025 will also bring significant updates and product launches: we will release an updated MinunMaatilani.fi service, the Wisu Pro and Wisu Pro+ weather station solutions in collaboration with Pessl Instruments, as well as the brand-new MinunMaatilani Wakka and WakkaPro services. Additionally, we will introduce numerous new products and solutions for farm entrepreneurs and business partners — including new mobile services, integration solutions, and digital tools for everyday management. Artificial intelligence will play an increasingly central role in our new services, and we will expand the use of AgINTEL solutions to new production areas and use cases.
We are building the future with a long-term perspective — customer-driven, technology-based, and impact-oriented.
