When and how did you end up in Mtech?
It was in 2017 when I was attending a “Full Stack-osaaja” course, my school suggested me to apply in Mtech for the internship position. I applied and passed the interview. After six months of my internship, I got an offer for the position of a developer.
What do you do here?
As a lead developer for the Global team, I am mostly involved in the projects related to MyFarm solution.
What is your normal day like in Mtech?
Besides the programming tasks, I attend different meetings, either internal or with customers. Generally, my days are ordinary and typical (except those when we are preparing or delivering new packages for the production.
What kind of things excite you at work?
I am lucky to work in this amazing supportive team and to communicate with other teams. I like the way things are arranged in Mtech; thus, it feels good to be working here.
I like the fact that I am involved in interesting projects or tasks that have a practical outcome. We are proud to say that our work does not only stay on a webpage but it also brings meaningful results.
What is your nicest memory related to Mtech?
Last year we had several meetings with our customers here in Finland and also in Sweden. I am always glad to meet new people, to create big and interesting projects together.
A year ago, we had a company trip to Riga, which was fun and lovely. We had a great dinner and walked around the old town. Going with your colleagues to a city you have never visited and having so much fun makes it memorable. I wish to have similar events again.
What do you do on your free time?
I spend most of my free time with my family – my husband and daughter. We ride bicycles together, go to movies or travel to different places. Whenever I have time, I love to exercise in a gym as well. I also am a student forever – I continue my Finnish and English studies.
