Mtech is an active participant in the European joint project Gaia-X. The Gaia-X project will build a decentralised data infrastructure solution that improves the management of data regardless of its physical location. The aim is to build an international and open solution that covers at least the EU and requires no closed implementations at the national level.
Mtech is a member of the Finnish Gaia-X AgriDomain Working Group, which brings together Finnish companies, innovators and public administration. “Gaia-X will likely be the data infrastructure of the future that provides, for example, Finnish agricultural expertise with direct access to the international service market,” says Jarkko Ilomäki, COO of Mtech.
