Accessibility Statement

This is Mtech’s accessibility statement regarding the services mtech.fi and minunmaatilani.fi. It was prepared on March 1st, 2022.

The Act on the Provision of Digital Services requires accessibility. Mtech is a private company and is not subject to the accessibility law (with the exception of any services, projects, or materials where public funding exceeds 50%).

Considering accessibility is good service and communication. Therefore, we aim to address accessibility where applicable and have assessed the accessibility of the mentioned services ourselves.

Accessibility Status of the Digital Service: Partially compliant with accessibility requirements

Non-accessible Content

  1. Not within the scope of legislation:
    • Content used in teaching within a limited group for a fixed period
    • Office file documents (e.g., doc, pdf, odt) published before September 23, 2018
    • Live video or audio broadcasts that are not recorded for storage or republication
    • Video or audio recordings published before September 23, 2020

Clear language has been taken into account in producing the texts on the website.

  1. Disproportionate Burden

We assess on a case-by-case basis when ensuring accessibility would impose disproportionate costs.

Not all event recordings and videos have captions if doing so would result in disproportionate costs. The overall accessibility of the websites mtech.fi and minunmaatilani.fi is being developed as part of ongoing website development.
